The article highlights the methodological significance of the system of exercises in teaching text structure in native language lessons, a consistent and purposeful system of exercises in the formation of linguistic competencies in the process of working with text, the role and theoretical foundations of text composition, analysis, construction-synthesis exercises, and didactic possibilities in the process of text creation.
