Development Of The Electric Power System Of Surkhandarya Region During The Years Of Independence

Abstract

This article analyzes the formation and gradual development of the electric power system of the Surkhandarya region during the еars of independence. It provides a scholarly overview of the modernization of electric networks, the commissioning of new capacities, the growing demand for electricity, and the technical re-equipment of the energy infrastructure in the region. The study also highlights state programs, investment projects, the construction of small and large power plants, and the expansion of renewable energy potential implemented in Surkhandarya. Statistical data, official reports, and sectoral scientific sources were used to assess the current state and future prospects of the region’s electric power system.
