This study offers a statistical analysis of the structure and composition of Muʿjam al-udabāʾ, a philologically rich work in the biographical (tarājim) genre authored by the renowned Arab traveler, geographer, and historian Yāqūt al-Ḥamawī. The research examines the organizational framework of the work, including its chapters, the total number of biographies (tarājim), and the number of biographical entries devoted to each individual. These elements are systematically compiled and analytically evaluated.
