Abstract

This scientific article analyzes the drying process, which is considered one of the key stages in the technological chain of calcined soda production. The main technological and energy-related problems arising during drying are examined, including uneven moisture removal, high thermal energy consumption, and factors affecting dryer efficiency. Based on calculations, the energy balance of the drying process and the patterns of moisture reduction are evaluated.
